Just remembered this; I'm putting this in Sightings cuz a spambot isn't a customer. XD I had a strange phone call the other night; I picked it up, only to hear a computerised voice rambling on about getting new mobiles or something of the sort. I put the phone down in the middle of the spiel.
My manager Tessa, who I was working the late shift with, said, "Who was that?"
I replied, "Spam. Basically, some weird recorded message about mobile phones."
And it didn't end there. The phone rang again about ten minutes later, I picked it up... only for the exact same message to play; right at the point where I cut it off the last time! X_x
I think I was justified in slamming the phone down and not daring to touch it for the rest of the night.
