So the boyfriend and I were at Tim Horton's yesterday, we had just been helped and were just waiting for them to finish making our order when I hear a woman ask for a manager. When the manager shows up the woman asks her:
"Are you short staffed or something because we've been waiting for 10 minutes! Those people (referring to me and my boyfriend) have been waiting for their stuff for 10 minutes too"
What?! I'm sorry if you're impatient, but it has not been 10 minutes, it's been approximately 3, and most of our order is together already. My boyfriend went to comment to them but no one seemed to be listening, and the manager was explaining that they were doing the shift change and that they were in fact short staffed at the moment. I had to keep my boyfriend from going outside to see if the people were still out there when they left, as much as I would have bitched them out when they were in the store, I'm thinking starting an argument outside is probably not the best idea. We did make sure the manager knew that it hadn't been 10 minutes, at least.
