Seriously though, this thread reminds me of what my coworker said when she received her second DUI and spent a night in jail-- "This is *so* unfair. It's not like I killed anyone!" Yeah, you're pissed because you got caught and had to suffer the consequences
She didn't kill anyone THIS time.
I hate drunk drivers. Even when they do hurt someone, they are almost always oblivious and uncaring, blaming everyone but themselves.
Don't forget 2 weeks of road repair in there somewhere!

ART. 113. MISBEHAVIOR OF A SENTINEL OR LOOKOUT
Any sentinel or look-out who is found drunk or sleeping upon his post, or leaves it before he is regularly relieved, shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct, by if the offense is committed at any other time, by such punishment other than death as court-martial may direct.
How about to watch over a Alaskan weather tower for four months straight?
Coworker Bob was a SP in the Air Force and spent 2 years on a base in Alaska with 7 other people. He had to do 12 hour shifts, staring at nothing. I think the guy would do just fine there.
