  • Coffee scam

I'm posting this on behalf of my friend. We were both involved. Friend was training a noob at Sbux on register. I had ordered without a hitch, then went to wait for my drink. The people before me were kinda rude. Very snotty, know-it-alls, no patience for the new woman (she took more than a second to put in the order). While I was waiting the SCs got their drinks.

SC: Um, yeah, uh, excuse me, I like, got a, uh, gra-ande (said like that), not a taaaaaaa-aaa-aal. (Glares at the new lady. I totally heard her order a tall cause I remember distinctly thinking-sounds good, I'll get the same).
Friend: I'm sorry, let me get that fixed for you.
SC: (whispers) See, told you that would work. Idiot.
Me: (Loudly) That what would work? Oh, that because that woman is clearly training you could pretend that she made a mistake and save, what, about a dollar. Good idea.
(Friend just puts the tall right back down and goes back to work. SC glares at me, grabs her drink, and leaves. I remember feeling incompetent my first day of work, I wasn't going to let stupid SCs make anyone look bad.)

Good for you! You're going to heaven for sure!
    "Wouldn't that be unethical?"

I love how she still had the audacity to glare at you after she had clearly been shown to have been trying scam more then what she had paid for. She could have at least had the decency to look embarrased. Good for you for calling her out though. The amount of entitlement that everyone seems to walk around with is astounding.

Right on, calling that scammer on her crap!

She should be ashamed of herself, but of course, she isn't, having killed off her conscience years ago.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Good for you, Lol I love defending fellow victims of SCs who can't do anything for fear of losing their job.
I'm sorry reading is not a new concept it has been widely taught in our nation for at least the past 100 years. Please, learn to do it CORRECTLY before you become contagious.
