as for the now former parents....how cruel. I've heard of people shoving meat and such into prams, then telling the cashier than their older child stole it, but that just goes beyond belief!

Not for me it doesn't. I read in one of those dumb criminal books about somebody trying to steal gold chains by hiding them in her baby's stroller, and being found out when the baby in the stroller pitched the chains onto the floor.

Little girl? Clingin to me, crying. I try to console her, saying she's going somewhere where they won't make her do bad things. She keeps crying (which just crushes me. I can't stand crying kids, but I usually can't help them and I feel so horrible about it.)

Thing was, she would not let go of me, so Liz just motions for me to follow her, so I pick the girl up and ride with them to the Family services. I help file a report and the such. It was very hard to leave. The girl was screaming and crying for me. My sister's co worker had to hold her back as I left. That....that hurts.

That just proves a theory I have. Kids and animals on "Animal Cops" react to people like you and the ASPCA cops because they know instinctually that they're safe.
