  • How Sucky Customers become Sucky

i stuffed this in Off Topic, as i had no clue where to stuff it...

Right now, i'm pissed off, and changing bandage on my toe,

it's worth mentioning why i'm changing bandage, i have infection, my toe hurts like hell, i'm going in for surgery tomorrow, this is relevant to the little tale i am to tell.

I went to a local mall, to get a gift certificate for my sister, as i had no clue whatsoever what to get her, i suck at shopping for girls
there is a small line where you get the cards, noting big though, not too long, just 5 people, 6 including me, i stay on my left foot, as my right one is the one with an infection, i'm minding my own, looking around, kinda in my own world, spacing out,
i have a social anxiety, so i'm not 100% comfy being around crowds, then i suddenly get a reality call, an old lady ran a shopping cart right into the line, and OVER my foot!
i'm a nice guy, i let it slide, cussing to myself in my mind, then it happens AGAIN!
another old lady REALLY not wanting to go the little turn around the line, i grumble, but again, i'm a nice person, calm, i don't anger easily.
Guess what? it happened a third time! another nice old lady, not wanting to go around, now my foor has been run over three times, it now hurts badly...
i still don't do anything, i know old people have a harder time moving usually, so i let it slip, you know what happens next? yes, you guessed right, a FOURTH old lady runs over my foot! i can't believe this, am i invisible or something?
i move closer to the people infront of me, shaking my head...
and STILL! a person managed to run her cart into me and onto my foot, this time a younger lady with her kid, and she looks at me grumpily and says "you know, you could move..."
yep... i lost it, my blood was boiling, i just stared at her and practically yelled, "THIS IS A F**** LINE!!! GO AROUND!"

i was not a happy camper when it was my turn, i was fuming, just wanting to get the hell out of there and change my bandage.

So this is what can cause sucky customers..... other customers!

    *grumbles*

You're another one with amazing restraint. Anyone else would've let the second or third one have it.

Why can't people watch where the heck they're going? If they travel everywhere that way, I'm surprised they haven't tumbled down a flight of stairs yet!

      PS: I like your avatar!

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

At least you managed to keep in in check for the old folks you said were nice enough. The person who actualy had the nerve to speak to you was indeed the one who deserved to be put in her place.

Yep gotta love those random acts of rudeness.

That kinda irritates too when someone blows through a line I'm standing in with their cart because they're too damn lazy to just go around the line.

just got home from surgery now, foot feels better, mostly due to i'm still under anestesia (spelling?)

the doctors were wincing when they saw my toe, and they had to remove my whole nail o.O

and i'm still annoyed at how "friendly" other customers at the malls are...

I would have snapped at the first person. My feet are precious to me.

I have an in grown toe-nail, and it is constantly hurting in pain, as if any other way. Well it has been like that for about 2-3 months now. Recently, it has been hurting a lot more then it should, and that is because, the toe got ran over 2 times in a row, Stepped on about 3 times in one day yesterday, and also yesterday, I bumped it into my desk at home. I am going to have surgery on it, sometime soon. But yeah, you do have a high tolerance of pain. I would have sanpped after the second one, and I did when that happened to me. And that guy told me to calm down.

You handled it way better than I would've. Although I might've mentioned to the old ladies "I'm not sure if you noticed, but you ran over my foot." Or something like that.

I don't abide rudeness. I would have at the least given those people some nasty glares...
I will not shove “it” up my backside. I do not know what “it” is, but in my many years on this earth I have figured out that that particular port hole is best reserved for emergency exit only. -GK

Wow, are you in Tech support? We tend to have a high tolerance for rudetards because we deal with them every day. I say bravo for the valiant effort at keeping your cool up until the last one (who deserved a blast, because she was obviously aware of what she was doing.)
