I'm sitting at Borders right now, enjoying the free and much better than the hotel wi-fi on my laptop. I'm situated in a corner with a small table that my laptop is sitting on and pretty much out of the way of anyone. There's a tiny space between the railing and the wall, big enough for me to get around to the plug where my power adaptor is plugged into.
I describe this because as I was sitting here browsing CS, a guy decides that it's the perfect way to get past into the cafe so he can get to restroom. As he was squeezing past, he unplugs my adaptor from the wall as his foot catches on it.
I call him out on it and he just looks at me and walks on. The prong isn't bent, but really? Did you have to go that way? Did you really need to squeeze through when about 10 feet up you could have walked around the just for decoration barrier and gone that way?
I suppose the only justice in this is that he made the alarm go off as he hadn't paid for his purchases.
ETA: OMG, now I have a mother bitching at me that I have to move because I'm between her and her child. Nevermind that there are about 3 chairs open a few spaces down from me. She's being blissfully ignored as I'm listing to Pandora with my earbuds. Jeeze, is it the holiday bringing these people out?
