I love how he said he would treat you like a goddess, then in the next breath demands to know why you're buying health crap because he told you not to. That's exactly how I treat my gods/goddesses of worship, by ordering them around!

I suppose it wouldn't work as well here as it would on the doctor who pretended that the pregnancy test had come back positive, but I suspect that a "really, I'm better? I don't need to watch my diet to avoid diabetes" response would get rid of the guy because clearly, you're too crazy to bother with. Although I think that your "numbers" did that to him anyhow... (Yes, I have a lot of experience in getting people to go away. Never worked the way I wanted it to, but people would go "she's crazy" and leave anyhow.)

I had a friend with that syndrome. Never would she get hit on when dressed nicely, but wear tracky-dacks and an old shirt, and she'd always have someone hit on her on the bus or in the supermarket.
