My car is in the shop and its my day off. I got tired of rolling around in bed and being lazy so I walked the block to this little Mexican restaurant I've been to a couple times. Usually I'm there in the afternoon, but hey, dinner never killed anyone.
Its seat yourself, so I sit down. The waitress brings me chips, salsa and water. I look over the menu and -boom- I know what I want. Tamales. In less than five minutes I'm ready to order + some margaritas. So I wait for her to come back..
and wait..
and wait...
I see them, they're not busy by waitstaff standards (being a former waitress). I also know theyre not busy because of the fifteen minutes I was sitting there, over half was three of them standing in a group talking. I couldn't get their eye contact, they wouldn't look at me as they passed my table to serve other customers, nothing. So I just left. I don't know that I'll be back either which sucks because they're in walking distance of my apartment and they have pretty okay (for a restaurant) margaritas.
