This is actually coming from a colleague of mine. We're in Aus, and she lives in a nice little culdesac street.
Her nextdoor neighbour is nuts. Since its a culdesac her lawn curves with the gutter. CN thinks this is his grass, despite multiple times being told otherwise (including by the real estate they rent from). B is good and continues to mow, in accordance with her real estate contract. Everytime she does it ends in CN screaming at her.
But thats not the sighting. B is happy because finally CN is yelling at someone else.
The place in question? Australia Post.
It's been raining lately, a lot. The mailman was being wonderful and taking the mail up to the houses instead of putting it in a sopping wet mail box. Cue CN screaming at him in what I like to think of as "Get off my lawn!". It went on for a little while, basically him shouting trespass and whatnot.
Australia Post responded by sending out a representative and a lawyer the next day. Again with the yelling, AP simply said, you don't like it you can find another carrier. And variations as such. basically shut up or we stop your service.
This did not make CN happy. B caught the end of the argument which ended with.
'Sir, we will stop delivering your mail if you continue to abuse us.'
'That's unconstitutional!'
'Sir, we aren't in America.'
They walked off. So far he has been getting his mail - but it may be his last chance.
PS. Sorry Americans, but it is a common thing around here to use ya'll as an example. Especially with the "I'll sue" mentality. Very rarely any civil suits get anywhere here unless they are huge
