I did ask them several times while SP was there if there was a private room available, they'd check, but the hospital was pretty full at that time.

The hospital I work for will only put someone in a private room if its medically necessary (regardless of insurance). Otherwise, its whatever room you happen to be assigned, though thankfully, most rooms ARE private. I hate having to deal with snotty people in double rooms (not you, Happy, your roomate) Ive had more than my fair share of people who forget how to be decent.

On lighter news, Its always been my dream to strap on a 3 liter bag of fluid and chase someone down the hall with a Pulse Evac. One day......
