  • Oops!

A couple of days ago I went to Wal-Mart with a couple of friends for some party items. When this happened I felt so guilty but at the same time confounded that it had happened.

My friend V and I were waiting for our friend C to come back from filling a prescription. We were standing in an aisle and blocking people, so I mumbled "well we could at least move," and started moving to the end of the aisle. Suddenly this fairly large woman, who was bent over the soups, looked at me and said (very very nicely), "Oh, am I in your way?"

    Oops!

She thought I had been talking about her! I wanted to explain myself, but was kinda dumbfounded. She was just a sweet lady trying to get some soup and she thinks I was being rude about her. She was so nice when she responded though! I hope she didn't post about me here.

Makes me think how many SCs or SEs are the result of misunderstandings.

Now excuse me, I'm gonna go beat myself up about this even more!

I'm sorry, but I find this way too funny!

I probably would have said that it was me in other peoples way, had a quick laugh about it and moved on.

An embaraassing moment for sure, but not something to beat yourself up over.

See, I wanted to, but I was too busy thinking "ohcrapohcrapohcrap!"

I know I'm way too hard on myself; I'm working on it!
