And there's always http://www.figleaves.com (they have a US site too).

I've got the comfiest bras ever from there.

They have lots of gorgeous stuff, and filters that enable you to search for all undies in a particular size without wading through everything.
Pity I still have to stick to the plainer stuff though, for some reason I find underwires very uncomfortable
    Arp happens!

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Not my VS. The largest thing they carry in the store is a 36C!

I would have been willing to get measured and order something from the catalog, but I was feeling EXTREMELY self-conscious surrounded by tiny, skinny teenagers. So I slunk out of the store ('with my tail between my legs' would have been a good description) and fled to JCP, where I found something by simply trying lots of things on until something fit.
It's little things that make the difference between 'enjoyable', 'tolerable', and 'gimme a spoon, I'm digging an escape tunnel'.

        Skipped from page 2 to post. I'm a 36H or I. www.braexperience.com and www.wizardofbras.com

Seriously. I get the CUTEST stuff from them, and don't balk at the prices, I have bras that I've worn almost everyday for over 5 years and they are as good as the first day I got them. High quality stuff for reining in the boobage.

Mytical, having met you in person, I can honestly say that no matter your size, you'll always be a sweetie, and it will always plainly show. Personality always matters, and yours, my friend, is an absolute gem.
:ahamed: You are going to make me blush. Which is not easy to do on the internet (painfully easy face to face though).

One thing I have never been able to comprehend is the obsession people seem to have with the magazine cover/billboard/super model females. You don't need airbrushing, expensive designer clothing, hours of makeup, etc to be beautiful. Sometimes it is just attitude (confidence not arrogance). I may just be weird but a confident woman is a sexy woman. Now to make a female even sexier it requires intelligence. Shallow just isn't sexy, in fact nothing turns me off faster.

Now don't get me wrong, there are somethings that are 'icing on the cake', I am human after all. However, dismissing somebody because they don't fit some mold is ridiculous imo.
I have a particular thing for the 'Goth' look. While not overly fond of piercings, tattoos can be interesting also. Oddly enough though I like the dark look of the Goth..I have a fondness for Red Hair. Flame red or strawberry blond is my favorite.
A fiery personality is enticing, as long as it never reaches the 'comes to blows' level. (Ie stands up for their convictions, will go nose to nose with me if needed (though they might need a stepping stool to do so ))

I mean we all have little things that interest us more, but a person has to look past the superficial. Not settle for 'mr/ms Right now' either. People are too concerned about the physical aspect, which can burn out (I think this contributes to the divorce rate, but that would be another debate topic), where a deeper connection will stand the tests of time. Think its partly why such things as porn or such just hold little interest for me.
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

Mytical said my thoughts brilliantly. Like I commented to my GF at the time, she asked about wether she needed make-up etc... I said "Dont ask me, I think you look amazing in your pj's"
She had a hard time beleiving that.

That's one of the things I love about my boyfriend. He likes it when I dress up, but he still makes me feel absolutely stunning when I've just crawled out of bed.

But it's flippin' UGLY! At least at the store I went to it was.

Yeah, they tend to cultivate a certain. . . image, don't they? I wasn't real comfortable in there either, and I honestly wonder if my being obviously pregnant at the time might have contributed.

Also, I'm bookmarking all these sites. Thanks, bosom buddies!

Ok, that was probably funnier in my mind, but eh.

Sweetie, trust me. Nearly every man I've ever met prefers curves on his woman to angles. Get thee to Lane Bryant for some sexiness and do not sell yourself short. Skanky-ass prostitot and mother are probably jealous because they're too bony to be fun in bed

THat's because your bras don't fit right. If you get a bra that's the correct style in the correct size, you can't feel the wires at all. This is why my boyfriend is brought along on all my bra-shopping trips, even into the fitting rooms (much to the amusement of the women at the stores we shop at). He is, hands down, the BEST bra-fitting expert I have ever come across, and I have not bought a single ill-fitting or unattractive bra since I started dating him I really wish I could hire him out!

Or I'm just an odd shape
I've been to different fitters, measured multiple times & tried different styles & sizes, but I can't get a comfy underwire for my shape.... think my extra curvy bits get in the way

I'm not too unhappy with the styles I wear at the moment seeing as there's only me seeing em though.

Well, up strolls little ms. Prostitot. She looked to be about 13 -14, dressed in clothing way too small for her and well, looking like a hooker, for lack of a better description. She blatantly eavesdrops on our conversation and then pipes up with a snide, ‘I-own-the-world’ tone of voice:

“ya know, maybe guys just don’t wanna look at whales in undies, cuz the undies will just get lost in all your fat rolls”

"Sweetie, all the beautiful lingerie in the world can't disguise the stench of used trash like you."

                            Alternatively:

"Yes, I am a whale. However, I can lose weight. YOU will ALWAYS be a worthless turdstain."

"Try to get laid on YOUR OWN time, SOME of us are trying to get SERVED"

I sort of blink, and step out of the way. Barista guy asks her what he can get started for her, and then…

She stares at the menu board and says “gimme a minute, I gotta think”

"Oh no no no, you go get fucked on your own time, honey. SOME of us came here to drink coffee, not be nosy about strangers' sex lives!"

Or, in both instances, there's always my classic favorite:

                            "Fuck off, shitbag."

I'm visiting my MIL in the UK and came across a Bravissimo store here. The gals are lovely and helped me find my size! Apparently the US's tendency to shunt us big-boobed gals to the ugly bras is legendary here. I can now speak from personal experience and tell you all that they are awesome!

                                Welcome to the club! *smooshes*

I can second that. A friend introduced me to them about 10 years ago, & I discovered that I'd been wearing the wrong size for years. I haven't bought a bra anywhere else since.

Did you check out the clothing range? Isn't it awesome to be able to buy tailored clothing that actually fits in the bust and the waist?
