Ron White calls out SC

Went to a live performance by Ron White in Lowell, MA tonight. Very VERY funny guy.

Naturally, videotaping the performance was prohibited, but there was a douchebag sitting in the very front row just off to Ron's left with a camcorder out. I could see this very plainly even from way up in the balcony.

(Background: Ron had just told a joke where he said talking in a theater to the point of annoying others in the audience shows you have the social skills of someone who shits in the street)

Not very far into the show, Ron noticed the jerk with the camcorder. He actually stopped the act, looked right at the guy, and said (into the mike, of course) "Dude, I know you're not recording this, cuz if you are they'll throw your ass right outta here, and there's not a thing I can do to stop them............dude, seriously, don't be a street-shitter!"

And low and behold, after being torn to shreds by a good comedian, he sheepishly put the camcorder away.

We had something like that at a convention once. Someone asked a question and then said "hold on, I want to record your answer!". Of course security escorted her back to her seat when the guest had finished replying and removed the video from her recorder.

(note: T&Cs say no filming at the event so they'd had fair warning too).

Of course it would have been nice to see the guest or MC slap the girl down publicly too.

Nice! Ron White is hilarious!

Last I saw, he and his wife were on "The Doctors", an afternoon health (scare) show. They were talking about his wife's breast cancer. The docs asked how she found the lump and she pointed to Ron.

He said "It's a good thing she didn't have liver cancer, 'cause I can keep my hands off her liver!"
