Beuller?
So, our pool opened earlier this week. It's a decent sized pool for tenant (and guest) use ONLY. Private property, private pool.
Unfortunately, as you can imagine, having a pool to be shared amongst apartments can bring problems, such as people who don't live here sneaking in hoping they won't be noticed as strangers, and frequently....EFFING UNATTENDED CHILDREN from down the street.
Whomever you are that doesn't watch your stupid kids......you better hope that the next time they sneak over here, they don't drown or get hurt. You're lucky that every time the little brats come over and climb the gates or just let themselves in, someone else is in the pool or someone can see out their window and calls the caretakers.
I was out there twice today. The second time, the brats were trying to climb the fence or just sneak in through the gate when they thought the girls that were already in the pool area weren't looking. Thank goodness children aren't smart or quiet enough to realize that plan doesn't work. One of the girls yelled "That old man already told you guys to get out of here once already. If you don't go back home, I'm going to make sure that a nice police officer comes and takes you guys back home! You guys don't live here, you cannot use this pool!"
Two of them scattered away, maybe scared, leaving the smallest one behind, who was too little to understand that threat, but within minutes realized he was alone and ran home crying.
The girls didn't know exactly which set of apartments up the street they were from, so surely no one had any idea whose kids they were.
The last thing we need is to have the pool shut down or a bigger fence built or to have to call to have a caretaker open the paddlock.
Oh, and last year, there were brats from down the other street that were throwing rocks at people's cars.
And kids who were riding bicycles who decided to play on a sofa that was left out by the dumpster, and to take a chair that was left outside and to roll it around with their bikes and send it soaring towards cars.
