Was at the 99c store running an errand for my mom, total comes to $6.29 and I hand the cashier six dollars, one quarter and one dime (that's $6.35 total).
Cashier says, "So you've given me six dollars and thirty cents."
I say, "No, that's six thirty-FIVE."
Needless to say, when I get my change, she rang it as $6.30, and all I got was a penny back.

" and stormed out.
He tried to explain it, even gave her the "I know how it is to work a register and have a drawer be short. I don't want you to get in trouble" bit but she still insisted it was right. He then asked for a manager who said THE SAME THING! He just gave up and left with cheap chicken. He felt bad for the cashier though. That much off usually at least warrants a write up.
