In a way, I can understand being that cheap. When cash flow ain't flowing, cheap is how ya gotta go .

This is why most truck stops now call themselves "Travel Centers" -- they cater to all travelers, although they still aim towards truckers. Bed, shower, haircut, dentist, movie theater, various levels of dining, etc. Plus mechanical services. Definitely the way to go if you are on a budget.
