Not quite sure if this goes here since it was at work but I overheard it anyway.

Cashier s1 is talking to a customer, blond kid with a blue shirt but a longish hairstyle and a hat on, buying beer and talking to his group of friends. He leaves. A few minutes later a different guy with blondish hair and the same shirt goes up to her register. This guy has a couple energy drinks and some "Crocodileade".

"Oh! I just saw some guy wearing that exact same shirt!"

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

"What did he look like?"

"He had that same shirt and had longer hair and wore a hat with (team) on it!"

"Was he my height?"

"Yeah!"

"....."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"That was my coworker. He said he was sick so I got called in to do his shift."

"...Oh crap. Better call the boss."

"*takes out cellphone* Oh I will."

I couldn't stop laughing my ass off for the next 10 minutes.

This is why if you're going to call in sick, you stay at home. You don't go outside and risk being spotted.
