Oh my God. That's absolutely horrifying. Thank God you're both OK.

He didn't even slow down after he almost hit a kid? That's just disgusting!
The best karma is letting a jerk bash himself senseless on the wall of your polite indifference.

The stupid is strong with this one.

That is the quickest, surest way to get fired at the store with the orange aprons. Even without almost running someone down, if you are seen moving equipment without a spotter, you are out on your tail.

I actually started crying as I got to the end because I was imagining...well... At any rate, better for him and everyone else he gets fired than kill someone.

I was just about to make that comment. Even the cashiers are taught the basics of the 'zone of safety' the spotters have to help maintain. And usually not only is the working aisle closed off, but the aisle against it, in case anything is knocked loose. We have had one guy get his forklift license suspended at our store for being careless--he kept damaging merchandise and shelving by trying to work too fast, so they took his license before they wound up with something broken enough to be a safety hazard.
It's little things that make the difference between 'enjoyable', 'tolerable', and 'gimme a spoon, I'm digging an escape tunnel'.
