As to the peaches, well, I was in Georgia around 9 years ago, and can't eat any other peaches since then - even from my home state of California. I now know why they are so proud of their peaches, there's nothing like them in that state!

I've had to get used to Jersey peaches, as Georgia peaches are rare here when we grow our own. At least since they're local they're juicy and sweet since they can be picked when ripe and not before, but they're just not the same. The best peaches I ever had came from Alabama, though.
