    One from my coworker

    Since this was a coworker's SC I'm putting it here.

    Last night a customer walked up to the photo counter and asked my coworker J to take a passport photo.
    J walked back behind the counter to get the camera and the SC said: "Can you say 'Yes' or 'No'?"

                You can't win.

                If she'd said "Yes", the customer is guaranteed to have snapped back, "I wasn't asking you if you could, I wanted you to DO it!"

                        My brother NEVER answers with a straight 'yes' or 'no' on anything. You can't even get him to commit to a firm positive or negative most days. He'll say things like "there's a strong possibility" or "probably not".
                        It's little things that make the difference between 'enjoyable', 'tolerable', and 'gimme a spoon, I'm digging an escape tunnel'.
