What really confuses me is when I see something that says "100% fruit juice" then on the side lists HFCS. Um, then no..it is not 100%, I GUESS that if it was corn juice (ugh..don't want to taste that) I might be willing to let it go, but never seen 'corn juice'. Anyhow...
There are rules in the US about how "100% fruit juice" has to be labeled. The linked rules state:

    (3) If the beverage contains 100 percent juice and also contains non-juice ingredients that do not result in a diminution of the juice soluble solids or, in the case of expressed juice, in a change in the volume, when the 100 percent juice declaration appears on a panel of the label that does not also bear the ingredient statement, it must be accompanied by the phrase "with added ___," the blank filled in with a term such as "ingredient(s)," "preservative," or "sweetener," as appropriate (e.g., "100% juice with added sweetener"), except that when the presence of the non-juice ingredient(s) is declared as a part of the statement of identity of the product, this phrase need not accompany the 100 percent juice declaration.

Which means reading the label lets you apply your rules for what you purchase, contary to what some SCs mentioned elsewhere seem to think.

On a similar vein, my 7 year old nephew LOVES the taste of coffee, and quite often, from the time he was 3 or 4, when we went to Tim Horton's for lunch, he'd ask to have a sip of mine after it had gotten cold. I ONLY drink decaf, with cream and splenda. I lost count the number of times busybodies would feel it was their job to tell me that "coffee is bad for children, it will stunt their growth/brain and I'm a bad person for letting my nephew drink it" - this said while they bought caffeine-and-sugar laden sodas for their kids of the same age.
