So, I found out the other night that my hotel friend's manager has been writing her up for me going in to talk to her even briefly. I'd been waiting for a letter from the parents (Oops, I gave mom the wrong address without realizing it... luckily, the ice cream store held onto the letter for a few days until I went up there and got it from them)
Two nights ago, my friend tells me her manager doesn't even want me coming in if I'm not going to be getting a room. I'm sorry, I'm in a position where I'm desperate for this letter/check to be in my possession...
Last night, over a late, late dinner with my friend, I find out her manager doesn't want me coming in because "It reminds them that I have nowhere to go."
WHAT?
... You know, you could fix that... why not comp me a room for the night? Then, I'd have somewhere to be and I'd be out of her hair briefly... bleh...
