My first thought was to post this in Check it Out, but it IS about sucky customers, not off-topic, so is here ok?
Maybe everyone else already knows about this show, but I don't watch very many reality shows (or a lot of TV at all, really) had some spare time and was playing channel roulette the other day for something to semi-watch while I worked on some boring desk projects, and stumbled on a show called Hardcore Pawn. It's about a family owned pawn shop in a tough section of Detroit. It was on one of the smaller cable channels, not sure what one.
I've watched just a few episodes now, and it's like a train wreck, you don't want to watch, but you can't look away Some of those customers make the SC's on this website look like little angels.
People literally screaming and yelling because they won't give them a $50 loan on a $20 item, the constant theme is "give me MY money", the ultimate EW's, whatever they want is what they should get, period. Customers literally being carried out of the shop by security guards that make the biggest bar bouncers look like wimps. Customers trying to climb across a counter to hit the salespeople. I keep hoping some of it's staged, but hate to say that it looks pretty real.
There is the odd hilarious moment though, I was ROFL watching one dude trying to sell/pawn an item, but had to keep consulting with "Robert" - whom only he could see. He eventually became abusive (they don't put up with a lot of sh** there) and was escorted out, and the owner followed behind a few minutes later with "Robert" by the hand, telling the guy he'd forgotten him, at which point the guy was "oh, thanks so much, I got upset and forgot him" and happily walks off with his arm around "Robert".
Really, if you want to feel better about your own SC's you have to deal with, or just want to watch SC's being treated as they deserve, check it out.
