So last night I went to Victorias Secret and I had a bunch of coupons with me that I wasn't sure if I could use together or on certain products so when a girl came over and asked if I needed help I showed her all my coupons and what I was planning on buying and asked what coupons I could use. She told me I could use all of them and I asked if I could use them all together and she replied that I could.
THEN I get to the register and they tell me I can only use one of the three coupons at a time or per purchase. I admit it I saw red. I don't think I showed it though, but I was pretty mad that I confirmed it prior to standing in line only to be told something different. I told them that one of the employees said that I could use them all together. The manager (I think) told the cashier to go ahead and do it since I was told that, but then the register wouldn't let them do all three. I still got two of them, which was ok (I would have been ok with just one IF I had been told that from the get go).
It made me feel so sucky to have to argue with them and then when they asked which employee told me I wasn't able to point her out, because I didn't see her anymore. I gave a really vague description, but I could tell they thought I was lying.
It was so embarassing, because there was a long line and everyone was looking at me. I didn't raise my voice or do anything to draw attention to myself, but I could tell that everyone heard.
I'm still pretty mad at that first girl though. I mean, really? If you don't know the answer to a customer's questions ASK someone that does! I would have been perfectly happy if she had said they needed to be seperate.
