So, Ma and I went to Papa Murphy's tonight to pick up a pizza for the family to share for daddy's bday.
We walk in, and since Dad likes the stuffed crust, and I'm getting tired of the cheesy bread, I figured we could make a half and half family sized stuffed crust (half what brother and I like, half of the veggie delite, whatever diet kind my parents want).
The girl at the counter says no problem, halfsies are fine. Stuffed with cheese between, one half of the pizza is pepperoni and sausage, the other is the veggie delite (or whatever it's called).
Mom and I got carried away talking while we waited, but bf started texting me and when I saw the time, I realized we'd been waiting for over 20 minutes, and the whole waiting area had cleared. Some people had even come after us, had their pizza made, and left. At first, I ignored it because mom said these pizzas take a few minutes extra, but I started getting pissed because at this point, there was no excuse. There was no one else in there.
Mom went up and asked when ours would be ready. The girl behind the counter (same one who took the order) kind of apathetic-like, said "Ooooh....they messed it up twice. Don't worry, they're getting to it."
There's a guy and a girl chatting while finally working on our pizza.
The girl looks at us and asks, "Are you guys, like, waiting for a pizza?"
It took everything I had to not say, "Yeah. The one you guys already screwed up twice!"
