SC: "Hey, you shouldn't be on the phone during work. Call your boyfriend back later; he'll still love you after work."

Me: Actually, that was an emergency call from my DOCTOR.

SC: Oh, Sure!!! You just missed your boyfriend.
grrr that's just so rude. Best answer I can think of (to that kinda comment & the ones in the OP) is the good ole' "That's an interesting assumption" followed by either silence or topic change.

I've always noticed that the guys who grump and snarl the most about women gossiping, slacking off, etc, often seem to be (a) extraordinarily prone to those behaviours themselves, and (b) somewhere between paranoid that the women might be talking about them and terrified that the topic under discussion (and therefore the object of female attention*) might NOT be them in all their glorious manhood.

*It helps to think of them as emotional toddlers, actually. Someone who can't bear the thought that female attention is not on him 24/7 is someone who needed more breast feeding, or something.

(Serious answer: Definitely a sexist, and a nasty one at that. Those kind of comments are specifically aimed to make their target feel bad, and if she complains, the response will almost always be "oh, you women can't take a joke!" - which is silencing, shaming, and also completely deliberate. It's passive aggressive BS, and you have every right to find it offensive and rude, because it IS. Emotional toddlerhood aside, this is a symptom of a deeply misogynist attitude, where women exist only in relation to the male persons in their vicinity - and it can escalate into much worse behaviour).

I mean, if I dared fire back, "Do you need a magazine for the two hour shit you're going to take and brag about?" They'd just beat their chests and laugh.
        I laughed...

But yea, it's kinda borderline since two times doesn't really constitute as a habit, but it's certainly not looking good.
