We've been waiting here an HOUR!!!

I knew there was a reason why I didn't like the girls standing behind me at walmart last night.

For some reason... even hearing them talking was getting on my nerves.


Granted it may have been the line, but that's what you get when you pop in to a store after 11pm, you get less lines open. Hell I wouldn't have even been there myself but I decided I deserved chocolate and Doctor Who season 6 part 2.


I had to roll my eyes when I got up to the counter finally. One of the girls behind me said, "We've been waiting here an HOUR!"



An hour ago I was still at work - and it's a 30 minute drive home. So at the most I'd been in line myself maybe 20 minutes. So there's no way there were there as long as they whined

My ex was like that. We'd be waiting in a drive-thru line for three minutes, and he'd start freaking out that we'd been waiting for twenty minutes. I'd say, "It has been nowhere NEAR twenty minutes, it's only been a few." And he'd insist it was twenty minutes

My husband can be like that too...Mr. Hyperbole. I keep asking him for detailed documentation on his claims.

Whenever I have to phone I always make a point of checking the clock. I get bored\distracted easily and that 5 minute wait can feel like 20 to me
