My bf just showed me a thread from one of his other message boards. No link because it's adult-themed.
One new member apparently wants to get into the adult film industry and posted a thread advertising her rates....
$10,000 per HOUR.
Needless to say most of the replies are along the lines of "What, in pesos?" or "are you high?" or "troll?"
Not the answer she was seeking apparently. She's very "offended" that no one took her rates seriously and she wants a WOMAN'S take on the matter... ignoring of course that women were already replying. (they just weren't supporting her)
I'm not sure what's more of a train-wreck. Her all-caps statements that she's 'worth it', or the rates someone listed... rates that are ONE-TENTH her asking price. Yes, apparently even well-established adult film actresses do not charge THAT much. (or in a nutshell... she's a nobody and expects to out-earn Jenna Jameson right off the bat)
it's like going into a department store with no experience not even a high school diploma or GED... and expecting to be hired as the General Manager instantly. And then playing the "offended card" when people don't take the demands seriously.
