So, the boyfriend took a trip to the local grocery and upon return, related this little gem.

He's doing his thing when he sees this guy in a grey and white striped hoodie. The hood is pulled down low over his face and he's got all the body language of someone who doesn't know how to be inconspicuous but honestly believes he is.

So, boyfriend watches him as he attempts to saunter over to the individual juice display, picks up two bottles of juice, and then proceeds to put a single bottle of juice back in the display and somehow manages to have empty hands.

Boyfriend took a moment to let management know of the thief and then went about his business.

I love me hoodies (zip ups or just regular draw stringed hooded sweaters, whatever). But I don't understand some people, how they wear their hoodies, the body language they use, they get mad that people assume the worst of them.

Walk around a store with your hood up and arms in the pouch, people are going to think you're up to something.

If you're like my boyfriend who just wears his hood up to try to send a mental signal to not bother him at work, everyone just assumes he's sleeping. Then he wonders why his lead is always checking to make sure he isn't. We're not supposed to have our hoods up for safety reasons if we have hoods on our clothes.
