I have a pretty oily scalp, so I wash my hair daily, except usually I don't on certain Fridays or Saturdays, I will dry shampoo my roots and scalp because I just want to sit in the tub for a bit and just wash up that way.

I guess I have no shame, I go to the salon right fresh from the gym in all my sweaty nasty glory. But they always seem to say, after I apologize for my disheveled appearance "Hey, at least you're working out!" or "You look fine, don't worry."

Most places I get trims only spritz water on your hair to wet it, and not actually wash and condition it, so if I have plans later I will shower when I get home and clean it then. Otherwise, dirtier hair takes color and other beatings a lot better.

Same here. Only I usually go after work. Then I jump in the shower when I get home. Mainly because, no matter how great the stylist is at cleaning and brushng off, I always have little hairs that get stuck in my shirt and poke me in the neck. Only way I can get rid of the damn things is to hop in the shower.

And right now, it's only trims and a little shaping since I'm letting my hair grow out and changing the style. It's been 20+ years since I've had bangs. Still not too sure about them....
