More joys of flying National Airline

Same relative as previous story (about missing luggage and carseat), now on journey home ... flight delayed, told they would probably miss connecting flight but would get on final flight to Their Hometown, "which has loads of room."

So yeah, they miss their connection -- and then are told National Airline can't figure out where the plane is. The one that's supposed to be the final flight that day to Their Hometown ...

National Airline eventually finds the plane.

It's fully booked.

Then National Airline needs to pay for nighttime lodging and food, because they just f***ed up royally.

I *think* they got home on the same day as originally intended (not sure how), so National Airline managed not to screw it up completely.

Otherwise I suspect relative might have taken a stab at getting them to cough up some dough. He doesn't take kindly to terminal idiocy.

Oh ... and then they get home, with clothing that's practically trying to break out of the luggage ... and luggage that's practically melting from the toxic clothing inside ... and there's no water (it was cut off for the whole block due to a leak) ...
