I got my free pretzel saturday! It was yum! Although I really miss Wetzels Pretzels

I guess dad got the same pretzel? I'd have just switched if it was different and used the decision the boy made as a learning experience.

That's exactly what I did.

Little Shirts and I were at the bank near our mall, and we heard about the free pretzel thing from the teller. Not ones to miss free food, we went. I got a plain salted pretzel, Little Shirts got the cinnamon sugar (he's 2.25 years old, and he managed to correctly pronounce cinnamon on his first try when I asked him what kind he thought he wanted). Fortunately, he liked it (and shared a small piece with me), but I was prepared to trade if he didn't.

I didn't even think about it. That kind of thing has almost become instinct now, and I don't have any parenting (or even babysitting) experience beyond Little Shirts.

Oh, and the "he's just a little boy" line... So, what, getting a free pretzel is some kind of hardship and we should feel sorry for your kid? No. You lose. Good day, sir.
