This incident happened on Thursday at a parking garage my co-worker was working at from 5 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Our direct supervisor is the manager at the garage as well as the manager over the account at the university we work at as contract parking attendants.
There are signs posted in the parking garage stating if you park in a reserved spot, & you have not paid for reserved parking, your car will be towed. The reserved spots are clearly marked.
Male customer pulls a ticket to enter the garage. If he had a reserved spot, he would have used an access card instead. Our supervisor sees him pull a ticket & back into a reserved spot. So he walks up to the guy & warns him that if he parks in that spot, his car will be towed. He also told him that according to company policy, he has to tell the customer that. The customer tells him 1) that he did not know about the reserved parking & 2) that he will sue the parking company if his car is towed. So our supervisor pulls him aside & talks to him. My co-worker does not know hat happened after that.
