  • Wherein we learn the value of READING THE SIGN!

Just got back from the Pandora store where I got a charm for Mother's Day. I picked the right time to go; it was crowded and busy but the line wasn't out the door and stretching three storefronts down.

I went in, and it was bustling so I couldn't tell right away if there was any sort of line, so I moved over towards two guys who looked like they were waiting for help. Only a few seconds later I spotted the sign on the front display case that said "Welcome to Pandora! Please sign in."

I went over and there was a clipboard with a list of names, and they were all crossed off. I grabbed the provided pen and quickly wrote my name in. Then a woman who had just walked in and saw me do that put her name on the list.

Not even a minute later, a saleswoman came over, grabbed the clipboard, and called out "Dave1982!"

    Me: Here!

    Cue two instantly irate guys.

"Hey! We were here before him!!"

The employee looked at the clipboard again, and said "well, you didn't put your names on the list" then turned to help me.

They put their names on after that, but had to wait for me and the woman who'd signed in right after me.

    RIP Plaidman.

A win for people that actually read the signs. Sweet!
