On Monday I went to a new age/spiritual/botanica place I go to often that I will refer to as WitchStore. (3 out of the 5 people that work there are)
My sister had to go to work early so I took Lauren with me and as soon as we walk through the door she goes right for the candles and picks up a couple blue ones. Scented ones, non scented ones, pillars, tea lights, pyramids, angels, anything really. If it's blue she likes it.
Lauren: Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue.
Then she started looking at all the different oils and trying to count them.
Lauren: Aunt Sarah, look at all the little water bottles! 8D
Then she went over to where all the stones and crystals were and picked out ones that were for luck, health, and protection for children, and calmness and clarity. The lady working there (don't know her name yet) said that she was impressed that she went right for those.
Lauren: I like these, they're pretty.
After that she started looking at the books and picked up a book about dreams and I got a different one for myself.
Lauren: This one looks nice, I want it.
After that she was looking at the statues and saw a couple of ones that she liked and asked the lady what they were, I can't remember the names but they were saints, angels, gods, and goddesses in charge of protecting children and animals.
Lauren: I like these, they look nice.
After that the store owner Toni came back, it turns out she left on a food run 5 minutes before we got there. The lady told her everything that Lauren said and did and Toni said that it was interesting that Lauren went right for everything that she did, and offered to ring us up and gave Lauren a free pouch for her stones and crystals.
She then came around the counter with a lagre bowl of salt, and told her to put her stones and crystals in the salt to clense them so that they'll work for just her. She also asked how old Lauren was and I told her that she'll be 4 October 9th, she had an extra yellow tea light that she couldn't fit on the shelf and she wanted to know if Lauren wanted it so she asked her.
Lauren: No! Blue! I like blue! Blue, blue, blue, blue!
They thought that her yelling out her favorite color was funny, after that we left so we could go home and eat. On the way home Lauren kept saying how much she liked the place.
