You Nearly Wrecked Yourself For A Burger??

Some time ago I was heading east on Rosecrans in the city of Hawthorne, Ca. when I was stopped at a light, in the far right lane. To the left, across the street, is a mom-and-pop burger joint that's been there for ages. I've never been there, but heard decent things about it before.

Just after the light turns green, I hear screeching tires and see a guy in an old, ratty Isuzu Trooper doing a Rockford-style L-turn from the left turn lane, nearly tipping over in the process. His left front wheel actually left the ground. He was clearly going way too fast, but apparently didn't feel like going around the block.

I guess the dude was really hungry .
