[Long Back Story] I was driving home the other day when I spot/witness a crash. What I see is the following
Man rolling down the road next to a moving car
Said car performing emergency stop
Motorcycle behind said car not quite stopping right and going over his handlebars into the back of the car.
Did I mention the speed limit on this road is 50mph and only has a single carriageway for each direction...?
So, being the sensible motorist that I am I'd left enough distance to the car in front and was able to pull up with a reasonable distance between myself and the vehicles/people involved and put my hazard lights on (4 way blinkers).
By the time I get to the back of my car and get my high viz jacket on and the kit bag out the boot then to the people I find everyone is fine (out of all that all I need was one kool pak!) [/Long Back Story]
It's at this point I turn around and walk back to the curb, what do I find? Some idiot cyclist who instead of moving out and overtaking my car and the crash has decided that the safe space I've created with my car is an ideal place to cycle through, nearly knocking me down in the process!
To say I was royally pissed off was a massive understatement!
Yes I didn't have blue lights on my car (because it was my own personal car) but you would have hoped that the cyclist would have realised what the hell was going on when he saw the guy wandering around the road in a high viz, a motorbike on the floor, a stopped car and a car behind with more first aid kit in it that you can shake a stick at!
