To set the scene, I am out with my family on a shopping trip this last Saturday.
We are stopped at a red light, in the right-hand of two lanes. There is also a dedicated left turn lane. Traffic is moderate, but moving well.
We spot this guy pulling up on the right, in the spot reserved for people turning right. At first we speculate that he's going to jump the line when the light changes because his wheels aren't turned at all, which makes it look like he has no intention of turning right. Then we speculate that maybe he is going to be turning, since he's looking to the left and obviously watching the cross traffic.
Imaging our surprise when a break comes in the traffic coming from the left and the guy on the right turns left, goes the wrong way across all three lanes and then goes left again to complete a massively illegal u-turn.
