  • drunks and bicycles are a bad combination

Foul ball number one- not wearing a helmet (I know this should be a strike, but I often ride without a helmet as well, so I can't really throw that stone).
Strike 1- Riding in the middle of a traffic lane when there is a clearly marked bike lane.
Strike 2- Riding in the middle of a traffic lane going against traffic rather than with it.
Strike 3- Drinking from what is clearly a bottle of low grade Vodka while riding in the middle of a traffic lane going against traffic.

Yes, I saw a guy who was quite literally drinking and biking... oh yeah... that's safe.
If you wish to find meaning, listen to the music not the song

    Wear your helmet Smiley!

While I wouldn't shed a tear to hear this douche went skull-first into the grill of a truck, we all like you too much to lose you over something easily preventable.

I forget the exact figures, but something like 80+ % of fatal bike accidents would not have been fatal if the rider had been wearing a helmet.

I believe it. Remember, boys and girls, the helmet is there for your protection so we don't have to be so grossed out as we rubberneck and block traffic
