  • Get Off The Freeway!

I have to take my mommy to work lately since my brother destroyed her car last weekend.

Anyway, this morning we were getting on the freeway when we noticed a huge jam.

One of those giant trucks that haul cars to/from dealerships, fully loaded with several vehicles, was clogging up the entire on-ramp......everyone had to merge at 30 mph......

Which of course, you can guess, morning rush hour....everyone was darting into the left lane, chaos ensued, thank gosh there were no accidents.

I know people will get on my case for this, but where I live, there are TWO ways to get to the bigger city. The older highway and the freeway. If your vehicle cannot even go the damn speed limit or you're going to cause a huge jam or potential accidents, take the old highway.

It's not like he went much faster once he merged in....when I finally saw a gap and got to go over and pass him, we had been up to a whopping 45 mph, a couple miles after we merged. I tried to play it safe and wait for a big enough gap so that I could get up to 65-70 and not cause any issues myself.

Blas, as I always say as I am attempting to merge on the 6th North entrance (don't ask me why, but I always get stuck behind a slow person on that ramp), "accelerate and then merge asshole"
If you wish to find meaning, listen to the music not the song

I always get behind the assholes who merge in front of me at a ridiculously slow speed, but once on the freeway, rocket off to 75+ and are gone.

Either that or someone who tailgates me while we merge, then once we get on the freeway, they are way behind me, and I'm only doing 65-70.

Yesterday as I was on the Freeway, there was a guy in a vehicle going at about 45. Given that the speed limit is 70 and the minimum is now 55, this makes for a dangerous situation. If I would have been thinking, I would have taken a picture because it had the name of a company on it. As it was, he was yacking on the cell phone, oblivious to the string of cars forming behind him. And if that wasn't bad enough, as I was still behind him, I get Mr. I've Got a MF'in Dodge Ram so I'm going to occupy your back seat.
