At my school one of the loading docks is not situated well. For trucks to access it they must back into it off a curved road after pulling into the intersection to back in if the are pulling a 53' trailer.
Common sense would tell you to give the driver plenty of room. I am waking between buildings and see the truck backing in, halfway in the turn when a driver comes flying up right behind the tractor with the trailer at close to a 45 degree angle. The car driver lays on the horn and the truck driver stops. The driver runs up to the can and starts screaming at the truck driver. The car driver then backs up and pulls their car up to and partially under the trailer blocking the truck and the road.
One of the receiving employees noticed this and must have call campus PD. Last I saw the car driver, an sadly faculty member, scream at the cop about the insane truck driver. I hope one of the cameras cover the dock are caught that.
