Saw an SUV the other day with TWO LICENSE PLATES!!! He had one taped in the rear window, and another in the normal spot. The one taped up wasn't a temp or anything; it was a license plate with tabs and everything from the same state!

Only thing I can think of was that he had to get new plates and was too lazy to swap out the old one? I mean, it was just weird. Probably not legal, either.

Edit: They were different tag numbers. Forgot to put that in.

Were they identical, or different numbers? The only thing I can think of is he may have been switching registrations or something from an old vehicle to that one, and he wasn't sure if it'd switched over yet, so he had the old and the new plates in until he was sure.

Out here, we have two. One for the front, one for the rear. The front one doesn't get tabs, though, so I have no idea.

Around here, almost everyone has two. One in the front and one in the back. The registration tags go on the back one.

Completely different numbers! Which is why it was weird!

I've seen 2 vehicles at the hotel that had multiple different plates, but in both cases the plates were for different countries. One was a van that had Canadian plates and plates for India, the second was a motorcycle that had US and Australian plates

Did the driver look anything like a certain British secret agent, by any chance?

A couple years ago, everyone here had to get new plates.
