  • I Will NOT Stop Volume 2

We're due for another shitstorm......(why is it that once it starts snowing, it just doesn't stop?!)

Anyway, leaving work this morning, the snow was the texture of rice....meaning sleet.

What does sleet mean, boys and girls? Slippery icky roads!

I was at a stop sign, going to go straight to my parents' house. Behind me was (go figure, it's happened enough lately, why not some more?!) an SUV that had been tailgating me ever since leaving work.

It was safe for me to go, but it was so slick that I just let off the brake and lightly oh so lightly tapped the gas and safely proceeded.

I'm looking in my mirror just to see how impatient the SUV jizzstain is, and guess what?!

The fucker followed me right through the stop sign!

Thank the Lord no one was coming (as that's a bad intersection, in fact it's where my brother got into a big accident last spring), as that could have been awful.

I haven't seen that behavior in quite a while....I guess Mr. SUV didn't want to lose any momentum!

Around here people seem to feel that, if they had to stop behind a vehicle stopped at a stop sign, that that counts as THEIR stop too. So they follow you on through. You're right, something interesting is bound to happen at some point! Sigh, I just hope it's not a crash right behind me, because I'd feel obligated to help the poor asshat out.

I'd feel obligated to stop because, if that person got my plates and told the cops that I was around when it happened, I'd get nailed for fleeing the scene of an accident, not meaning that I was involved, but because I was there and saw it happen. The real definition of that slips my mind at the moment, though....
