Saturday I was heading up to my mom's. She lives about 100 miles north of me in a town called Bay City (where Madonna was born..in case you care). Anyways, I was heading north on US-23, was probably doing about 70~75 when I happened across this guy that was doing about 70. So I slowed down and waited for him to get over or so I could pass him. There was the nice string of traffic.
Anyways, Mr. BMW station wagon comes tooling behind me. He is oblivious to the world in front of his nose, as he can't quite see the cars in front of me or to the side of me. So he's right on my bumper. So there's a break in the traffic to the right and Mr. person ahead of me doesn't feel like moving over, so I get over to the right. At this point, Mr. BMW decides he wants to pass the car that was in front of me. So he's motioning me to slow down so that he can get over and he even tries to get over. Well, I was gonna try to pass and wasn't about to move and I gave him a sign (the American sign of displeasure) that I wasn't going to move. Finally, my sanity returned and I decided to slow down so that he could get over and go on his merry way.
So I then decided it would be my mission in life to make sure I pass him again. So I hit the gas (but not too fast...). There must have been enough islands of traffic because I was able to catch up to him as he was getting off the exit. At which point I was laughing and waving and he gave me a British sign of displeasure (or the peace sign flipped backwards).
And yes, I probably should have backed off at first but he was about to take off my quarter panel.
