Just saw this one. As I'm sitting in my second floor office, there's something squealing outside. Sort of like when someone slams on the brakes...before wrapping their car around a tree. But, as it's getting louder, it's taking quite longer than expected to the "hit." As the noise is getting closer, we're all going

Look outside, and a beat-up red Pontiac sedan pulls onto the sidewalk. Or rather... *attempts* to pull onto the sidewalk. Driver gets out, kicks both rear tires, then drives away. As she left, it was pretty damn obvious what was going on. Both of her rear wheels weren't spinning--either the handbrake was left on, or the brakes had seized...yet she kept on going. Never mind that with only 2 rotating tires, the rear end of that heap was almost in the other lane... Also didn't stop her from trying to turn left...and putting the car's rear end against the wall!

Is the hand brake the E brake?

When my back tire seized up, it was making this thud thud thud sound like when you drive over a big ball of snow and drag it under your car for several feet.
