Boss Man just relayed to me what happened to his Boss Man's Wife (BMW) today.
BMW's store is apparently next to a liquor store. It seems that a frequent patron of said liquor store had imbibed in their product, gotten behind the wheel, and then drove INTO HER BUILDING! No, no, that's NOT what a "drive-thru" is supposed to be!
BMW apparently saw the car coming, and tackled two customers to push them out of the way. She ended up with broken glass all throughout her hair and down her blouse. Ouch! Fortunately no one was hurt, and she was thanked by the mother of one of the customers she saved.
She's buying duct tape and plastic so she can tape up the window. She wants to get back to her business of selling jeans right away, even though the crime scene tape is still up.
There's a BCTV van in front of her shop, so she might make it onto the evening news.
