  • Rolling stops, and good news

    So i went shopping today with my mom, lots of stupid people out there today to lol

    Rolling Stops

    We were leaving Barnes and Noble (its amazing how nobody can read, yet they are all in B&N) anyways....

    Im sitting in my car and i face one of those parking lot roads. theres a stop sign. I only sat there for a few minutes, and saw maybe 5 cars or so, all speed up to the sign only to stop a full car length after, and at that, a half assed stop.

    earlier when we walked in and crossed that little road some woman didnt want to stop but she had to....but she was too busy yapping on her cell phone.

    uh....no handheld devices lady! i swear its like they think the law doesnt apply to them or they wont ever get in an accident.

    Good News.

    we went shopping down in Milford. Which requires the interchange I-91 South to I-95 south. anyone whose done this KNOWS how bad it is, and is ranked as one of the worst in the country.

    well the recently added a lane, and let me tell you, it went soo smooooth. ahhh yes so nice. no sitting at a standstill cuz people cant merge :P

    ::gasp, dies of shock::

    (As you can tell, I don't normally drive that way. I make it a point to go through downtown so I can avoid that interchange. I may have to try it out now, just to see.)

      if I want to go to Milford, I run down 15 [Wilbur Cross] and cut over on the Milford parkway ... I hate transiting through New Haven - I normally only go there for Yale-NH hospital appointments, or hitting Ikea for something.

          And yes, I *hate* driving in N Haven....there was a nasty accident on 95S recently, so I toof 34 to get to work....oi vey....just torture at 7am.

                        That was a one off, usually I take 95 to 15....lately it's not been bad in the AM, even my commute home has been bareable
