I was heading towards the thrift store to look for some items. I looked both ways and started to cross the street. A jeep came out of a side street and turned my way. No problem, I had the right of way and surely she'd see me, right?
Wrong. She saw someone she knew walking in the opposite direction. She pokes her head out the window and begins calling his name and waving. I can see the back of her freaking head and she didn't even bother to slow down.
I have to stop right in the middle of a busy street to let her pass. She doesn't even seem phased by the fact that I was standing in the middle of a busy street with a WTF glare on my face.
I mean, seriously, eyes on the road. Waving at a friend is not worth risking a human life. Thankfully I was paying attention to my surroundings.
