I cycle at work, and make a point of giving hell to those idiot cyclists who don't follow the rules - they're there for a reason folks, primarily to stop you from becoming a smear on the tarmac.

Pedal cycle v. arctic = lots of paperwork + sand to clean up.

But didn't you know? If you're on a bike you're exercising, making you a better person than anyone around you. This automatically makes you invincible! (Maybe it's because you're saving money?) I don't get it, I seriously don't.

I won't hold you responsible for the 5-10% of drivers that are openly hostile toward me(throwing things at me while I'm in the bike lane, accelerating towards me while I'm making a legal, signaled turn, passing with less than 3 feet of space, passing me on the right in an intersection, passing me on the side I've just signaled I'm turning to-as in actually hitting my outstretched signaling arm....), don't hold me responsible for the 5-10% of bicyclists that don't follow the rules...ok? Generalizations are bad...Mmmmkay?
